DMCA Copyright Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Our commitment

LocalSend.pro respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the "DMCA", 17 U.S.C. § 512) and respond promptly to clear and valid notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements set out in this policy.

If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material accessible on or through this Site infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Designated Agent with the information described below.

We do not host application files

LocalSend.pro is an index and informational resource. We publish guides, reviews and download information, but we do not host application (APK/IPA) files or other software binaries on our own servers. Every "Download" button on this Site links out to a third-party download-hosting domain that stores and serves the file independently of us — we do not control that host's servers, and clicking Download will take you off localsend.pro to complete the download.

Where we can locate and identify allegedly infringing material referenced on our Site in response to a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the identified links or content in accordance with the DMCA. Because the underlying files are hosted by third parties, you may also need to contact the relevant host directly to have the file itself removed.

How to file a takedown notice

To be effective under the DMCA, your written notification must be sent to our Designated Agent and must include substantially all of the following. Please provide each of these items:

Where to send your notice

Designated DMCA Agent — LocalSend.pro

Email: contact@localsend.pro

Mailing address: [Add your business mailing address here]

Please use the subject line: "DMCA Takedown Request"

Sending your notice to the correct address with the subject line above helps us identify and process it quickly. Incomplete notices may delay our response or prevent us from acting.

Our response process & timeline

Upon receiving a notice that we consider valid and complete, we will review it and act on it — typically within 2 to 5 business days — by removing or disabling access to the identified material on our Site. We may also notify the party responsible for the affected content and forward a copy of the notice to them.

We reserve the right to request clarification if a notice is unclear or appears incomplete before taking action, and we may decline to act on notices that do not substantially comply with the DMCA's requirements.

Counter-notification

If you believe that material you posted or that concerns you was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent. To be effective, a counter-notification must include:

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days after receipt, unless the original complaining party first notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

Repeat-infringer policy

In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, LocalSend.pro will disable access to, and/or terminate any relationship with, users or contributors who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright. We take repeat infringement seriously and reserve the right to take further action where warranted.

Misrepresentation warning

Please note

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please be sure that you are the rights holder or authorised to act, and that your claim is made in good faith, before submitting a notice or counter-notice.

Good-faith cooperation

We want to resolve intellectual-property concerns quickly and cooperatively. If you are a developer, publisher, or rights holder with a concern about anything on this Site, we encourage you to contact us directly at contact@localsend.pro. In many cases we can address the issue promptly and amicably without the need for formal proceedings, and we are always willing to work in good faith toward a fair resolution.
